RustAuth

Authentication that lives in your Rust backend. Sessions, passkeys, OAuth, SAML, and SSO as Cargo crates.

RustAuth is a server-first authentication toolkit for Rust, inspired by Better Auth. Instead of sending users to a hosted login service, it keeps sessions, passwords, and enterprise sign-in inside the application's own backend and database.

It ships as a set of Cargo crates: email and password, sessions, OAuth and OIDC, SSO, SCIM, SAML, and passkeys, with a plugin system and storage adapters for SQLx and Diesel. Axum and Actix Web each have a first-party integration, and a CLI handles project setup and database migrations.

Everything beyond the core is a plugin, so an application takes on only the features it uses. The API is pre-1.0, and the project is independent of Better Auth.
