PyPix is a faster, denser way to explore PyPI: search, package metadata, versions, files, requirements, and security signals in one focused interface with keyboard-first navigation.
It started as a fork of npmx.dev, re-aimed at the Python packaging ecosystem. Most of the work is replacing npm-specific data access with PyPI equivalents: the JSON API for projects and releases, an external source for download stats, and file browsing straight from published artifacts.
